Like San Francisco, I've never been to San Diego. I mention it here because I know it's a popular place to study ESL in America.
All I know about the public transportation is that if you want to get around, you'll have to figure out the buses. There's also a trolley in San Diego.
San Diego is famous for its weather, its beaches, and the San Diego Zoo.
I haven't heard anything about the nightlife in San Diego, but I imagine its good.
