This class starts with a focus on listening and vocabulary. The focus then switches to the arguments about the death penalty expressed in this song. Finally, you will be encouraged to express your own arguments aboutt he death penalty.

Listen to the song "Iron Lady". The iron lady is a metaphor for the electric chair, which is used to execute (kill) criminals. Judging from the words and/or the mood of the song, do you think the singer agrees with the death penalty?
